W.J. Kolberg first entered the world of art when she took up pottery as a hobby. With time she worked out her unique and colourful style of pottery – and created many remarkable pieces of crockery as well as life-like statuettes and original vases.
Twenty years have passed since then and Ina decided to try her hand at pastels. With her new art sideline growing, she ventured into canvas. Many styles were explored until her own style formed – a romantic and colourful reflection of Cape’s stunning nature and friendly people. The scenes from everyday life in the Cape emerged as the common setting of most of the works.
Ina sold numerous works to art galleries and tourists, so we can proudly say that her works grace the walls of many homes all over the world. |
